Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

I just was notified that a fellow ”blogger” from another site was taken to the hospital todal with breathing problems. Please pray for Joy as I am not sure the severity of this but I do know she has many health problems.

I have read all of the requests for prayer and I wanted to say a prayer on here.
Dear God, you alone know these situations that require answers that only you can give or provide.
God, I ask you to cover all of those people that are in the paths of these storms still causing floods and winds and other damage even deaths and injuries. In the same way you promise in this scripture, protect all in the path of the new hurricane too. Those people that have lost homes and had damages that are severe need you so much.
God, I also want to ask for healing for those with impossible cures through medical help but with you all things are possible indeed.
I pray for you to make this place a good place for Bali to pray and visit with others who are wanting to join together in one accord. Even a few can change the world when we get together in your name.
God with all the decisions people are making and all the things going on in the politics in this country I pray you will oversee and lead those who want to run for office. I am asking you to give us your choice for our next leaders. Help us to get along too and not allow differences in how we vote to become division makers in the christian world. In Jesus holy name. Amen

Like many of you, I too am watching and listening to the coverage of the DNC on TV this week. Next week it will be a holiday and then more of this via the RNC.
This brings to me the place to see how we not only spiritually but literally must get on our knees for this election for it is the movement of a country into or out of the will of God.
Let’s pray fervently DAILY for the sincere move of our people to whatever path GOD leads us
to travel. Taking ALL things into consideration as
we prepare our hearts for the elections in Nov. 2008.
May the will of the Father be done! Let us end our prayers with “Thy will be done”.., in Jesus name, Amen.

Nothing I take helps. I think it may be reaction to prednisone I am taking for a week. But I can’t read, think, pray or sleep!

LET’S CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR THE DIRECTION OF THE 2 STORMS IN THE SOUTH. We need Hanna to head out to the eastern Atlantic and for the Gustav to be pushed back. It has happened because years ago we saw a hurricane stall, go in erratic circles and die out by a cold front.

Need prayer for a clients daughter. Name is Amanda. Had a terrible accident was a young girl. Has brain injury. Amanda is 25 however is the actual age of 13. Has a 2 yr old daughter. Doesn’t know who father is. Is now living with a boyfriend that isn’t really doing her any good. Gave guardianship to Grandmother for the little girl name is Gabby. Please pray she gets away from this guy she is living with. She needs many prayers. Thanks in advance!

praying here for all but need your prayers too. as Bali know and some of you also i have been battling lung ca for 5 years but my copd and emphasema is driving me crazy. just got back out of the hospital today, very very tired tho. will be doing iv solumedrol here at home and then on oral prednisone. need your prayers for my breathing to improve. thank you and it is in Gods hands also jo

Lord, You are Jehovah Jirah – You are our Great Physician..You are everything we lean on God..
God You Word says that Your Son, Jesus, came that we might be healed…You sent Your Word and healed us. Your Word says that we should come boldly into Your Throne Room and that if any two of us on earth agree as touching anything that You would do it.
Lord, I come into agreement with Jo on her health issues. I pray for miracles for her in every way and in everything in her life. I pray that her life would fall into Your perfect order and that You would be glorified in her life, that she would be a witness unto You and the way a life should be to be a witness unto Your way for us.
I pray that people would look at her life of perfect health and know that You and You alone did it. I pray that You would be glorified in her life. And I thank you in advance for Your answers… Amen and Amen
